The Warrior has been a beloved fixture of Ontario, Ohio, since it first opened as a drive-in in 1960. Now owned by the Erich family, who bought the shop in 2007, the restaurant continues to wow the taste buds, while nurturing a sense of family that extends to our community. We are proud to use local vendors whenever possible, and we know our customers by name.
Over time, the classic 1950s diner menu hasn't changed a lot, but pizza has become the Warrior's specialty. Mimma Erich, who is originally from Italy, worked with her mother and husband to create the highest profile pizza. After taste-testing many combinations, the Erichs landed on a signature recipe and then went on to perfect their sauce and dough.
The Warrior’s pizza won 4th Best In the World at the 2009 Las Vegas International Pizza Expo and the Pizza with Pizzazz award at the 2011 North America Pizza & Ice Cream Show. But we are most proud of winning the hearts of our customers over the years. At Warrior, everyone is welcome to the table.
We’re only able to succeed because of local support. As we’re serving you, we want you to feel welcomed, known, and appreciated.
Whether you want the best-selling pepperoni pizza or a quarter of this and a quarter of that, no worries. We custom-make everything for you.
And when your order is ready, we want your reaction to be, “Wow, that was worth the wait.”
Everyone is human. If there’s ever a problem with your order, please tell us so that we can address it, make it right, and earn your business again.
